AFPI Launches Let Teachers Teach Coalition on Constitution Day
WASHINGTON, D.C.—On this Constitution Day, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) proudly launched Let Teachers Teach, a new coalition focused on empowering educators, elevating their voices, and restoring excellence in American education.
The Let Teachers Teach coalition provides three critical new toolkits that give teachers practical resources to advocate for themselves, their students, and the pro-America values that allow our education system to produce the best results. AFPI’s latest coalition aims to empower teachers to engage with school boards and administrators and have a stronger voice in the decisions affecting their classrooms.
Erika Donalds, Chair of Education Opportunity at AFPI, issued the following statement on the launch: “Great teachers enter the classroom to educate, inspire, and prepare the next generation, and often end up taking the blame for rogue school boards and woke mandates that they had no say in. The Let Teachers Teach coalition will elevate the voices of educators who believe in scholarly achievement, parental partnership, and putting students first. I am honored to be a part of this work to empower teachers and restore excellence in American education.”
