America First Policy Institute Announces $10m+ “Winning The AI Race” Initiative — A First-Of-Its-Kind Conservative Strategy To Lead The AI Future

November 24, 2025

Washington, D.C.—Today, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) announced “Winning the AI Race,” a $10 million, three-year initiative to build the first comprehensive, conservative, human-centered artificial intelligence strategy in the country. This marks the most significant investment by the conservative movement into AI policy, workforce development, and technology leadership.

The inaugural America First AI Agenda is available here. The agenda centers AI policy on American workers, American leadership, and American values, in alignment with the work already begun by the Trump Administration. AFPI’s work aims to establish the United States as the global leader in AI technology and policy.

While Big Tech, federal agencies, and elite academic institutions have dominated AI policy for a decade, AFPI is launching the first full-spectrum AI strategy rooted in America First principles, spanning economic policy, national security, workforce development, education, and government modernization.

The program will focus on:

  • Advancing American AI innovation to boost productivity and create high-paying manufacturing jobs.
  • Upholding human dignity to guard against anti-American bias, protect children, and defend the American worker.
  • Safeguarding the homeland to prevent foreign adversaries from undermining American AI dominance or harming the American people.
  • Promoting government efficiency and AI readiness to cut bureaucratic red tape and promote strategic awareness of AI in government.

AFPI will unveil additional details of their AI agenda, workforce strategy, policy roadmap, and national coalition partners at a launch event in December.
