Case Manager & Executive Assistant, Litigation
Overall Responsibility:
The Case Manager & Executive Assistant will support the Litigation (CFL) at the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) by providing legal project assistance, case management, and high-level administrative support. This dual-role position requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual committed to AFPI’s mission and values.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Commitment to AFPI’s mission and servant-leader culture, embodying professionalism and discretion.
- Provide case management support including docket tracking, legal research assistance, and preparation of legal documents.
- Maintain CFL’s filing and calendar systems, ensuring timely filings, court appearances, and internal deadlines.
- Support attorneys in research and filings, including use of PACER and other court systems.
- Coordinate communications with clients, external partners, and AFPI departments, including preparing briefing materials and responses to inquiries.
- Draft and organize talking points, press releases, and social media content to help amplify litigation efforts.
- Assist in internal and external meeting coordination, including agenda preparation, scheduling, and follow-ups.
- Perform executive assistant functions for senior CFL leadership, including travel arrangements, expense tracking, and confidential administrative support.
- Maintain and organize both physical and electronic case files.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by CFL staff or AFPI senior leadership

Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience in a legal support, case management, executive assistant, or office management role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in legal administration tools (e.g., PACER, court dockets, e-filing systems).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong organizational, research, and writing skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with digital communication platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when necessary.
- Interest in constitutional law and alignment with America First principles.
- Law firm experience preferred but not required.
