A New Approach to Lowering Drug Costs for Ohioans

Washington, D.C.—The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) offered the following statement from Hannah Anderson, Senior Director of Policy and Director of Healthy America, regarding President Trump’s visit to Cincinnati, Ohio to highlight efforts to lower prescription drug costs.

“Other presidents talked about lowering drug costs but President Trump was the first one to actually do it. Patients-last administrations have raised costs and handed control of health care to bureaucrats who have only made it harder to actually get health care. Ohioans know that President Trump is fighting to lower costs – through TrumpRx, ending global freeloading, and giving health dollars back to the American people so that they can spend those dollars on what keeps them healthy.”
