Angelo D. Soto was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan and currently serves as one of the Office Receptionists at the America First Policy Institute. Angelo graduated from Eastern University in Pennsylvania. He received a B.S. in Political Science and Business Administration, and minored in Public Policy, Spanish, Anthropology, and Missiology.
Angelo’s extensive political involvement began when he worked for Rick O’Leary and Chair, Karen Boback in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on the Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee. This experience led him to give a speech on CRT to the Pennsylvania House.
Angelo also interned for the Heritage Foundation within their Young Leaders Program, working in donor outreach, and data collection in their Development Department. Angelo has served on several political campaigns from local to federal level, serving roles as Communications Director and Rapid Response Director.
Angelo also served as the Operations Assistant to the America First Transition Project, assisting the Chair with outreach, administrative tasks, travel logistics and being a main point of contact for stakeholders.
He recently served in the Trump Administration at the Department of Labor as Special Assistant to the Office of Public Affairs and in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for the Office for Administration and Management. He enjoys spending time with his sister, Gabby, and his mom Leida at concerts, watching movies, and traveling across the country on road trips.
