Jovan Tripkovic is a Policy Analyst with the Higher Education Reform Initiative. Prior to joining AFPI, he was an editorial fellow at Religion Unplugged, where he covered Orthodox Christianity and religious freedom.

He holds master’s degrees in European and Global Studies from the University of Padova and in Political Science from the University of Wyoming, where he also served as a teaching assistant. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in History, from Caldwell University in New Jersey.

During his academic career, Jovan was a Shaftesbury Fellow at the Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy in Dallas, Texas, and a Wilbur Fellow at the Russell Kirk Center in Mecosta, Michigan. While at Piety Hill, he researched Russell Kirk’s work on decadence and the renewal of higher education.

His writing has been published by Religion Unplugged, The James G. Martin Center for Academic Renewal, The American Conservative, Inside the Vatican, American Habits, and other notable publications.
