Kayleigh Kozak

Senior Manager, America Combats Trafficking and Child Exploitation Initiative

Kayleigh Kozak serves as the Senior Manager for the America Combats Trafficking and Child Exploitation Initiative at the America First Policy Institute, where she is committed to developing and advances policy with the goal of ending the scourge of trafficking and child exploitation and ensuring harsh penalties and accountability for those who cause harm.

Kozak is widely recognized as the namesake of “Kayleigh’s Law,” a significant legislative achievement enacted in multiple states, which provides critical protections for survivors of sexual and domestic abuse. Her dedication to advocacy has also contributed to the successful passage of numerous bipartisan bills aimed at enhancing victim protections and promoting justice. Among her accomplishments, Kozak championed policies that resulted in approximately 7,000 sex offenders, previously classified as low-risk despite convictions under A.R.S. 13-705 for dangerous crimes against children, being added to the public registry. She also led efforts to ensure that convicted sex offenders with parental rights notify their children’s schools of their offender status.

Additionally, Kozak co-chaired a high-profile ballot measure campaign, which achieved historic success by securing natural life sentences for individuals convicted of sex trafficking minors. Her work reflects a deep commitment to educating the public on the complexities of sex crimes and the profound impact on survivors and their families.

A graduate of Liberty University, Kozak holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus on Family Christian Counseling. She is a wife and mother of five, who spent years raising her children before channeling her passion into advocacy. Outside of her professional job, she enjoys walking in nature, riding her Harley motorcycle, and takes her coffee just as seriously as her work!
