AFPI Fellowship

Overall Responsibility:

The AFPI Fellowship is an eight-week program for early-career professionals outside of the D.C. policy ecosystem that builds the next generation of America First leaders, culminating in an in-person D.C. summit October 9-12, 2026.

Program Description:

The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) was founded in 2021 by Brooke Rollins, Linda McMahon, and Larry Kudlow. The organization has a strong alumni network, with seven AFPI alumni—including Rollins and McMahon—presently serving in cabinet level positions in the Trump Administration. AFPI also counts numerous former cabinet secretaries and senior administration officials among its leadership.

AFPI is launching an eight-week fellowship program culminating in a three-day summit featuring panels of current and former cabinet-level and senior Trump Administration officials. The fellowship is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of the policymaking process and the principles driving the America First Agenda.

The fellowship is intended for young professionals outside traditional policy circles, looking to bridge private-sector experience and industry expertise with the policy process. Fellows will gain firsthand insight into how policy is shaped at the highest levels, learning directly from leaders who have driven the America First Agenda. The program is built for those who want to deepen their understanding of the policy process and play a more informed role in the issues that matter to them.

The fellowship’s programming will be completely virtual and span AFPI’s full range of policy areas, including Economics and Trade, Artificial Intelligence, National Security, Agriculture, China, Energy, Education, Healthcare, and more. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to attend annual programming in Washington, D.C., or Palm Beach, FL, typically held on the weekends.  There will be no cash compensation, but all travel-related expenses will be covered.

The application window opens June 23 and closes July 20. Initial interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, with finalists being selected and decisions communicated by the first week of August. For any questions, please reach out to: [email protected]
