Investor Communications Manager

Overall Responsibility:
The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) is seeking an Investor Communications Manager to lead and execute a dynamic and strategic investor communications program. This role is pivotal in deepening engagement with AFPI’s community of major donors by crafting high-impact communications that reflect AFPI’s mission, values, and policy outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring strong writing and project management skills, a deep respect for American liberty and freedom, and a passion for advancing the America First Agenda.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Execute an effective and engaging investor communications program for the organization
Represent the values of culture of AFPI to investors and other team members
Draft Impact Reports, donor engagement materials, and event correspondence for major investors
Engage with investors through short form donor communications, including cover letters, gift acknowledgements, key announcements, and event follow-ups
Prepare weekly impact emails, including drafting content, review, and delivery
Manage donor data in communications software programs
Increase overall donor engagement through creative communication that effectively conveys the mission of AFPI

Type of Employment:
Full-Time

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, nonprofit management, political science, or a related field; advanced degree a plus
3–5 years of experience in donor communications, development, or strategic writing—preferably in a nonprofit, advocacy, or policy-focused organization
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex policy ideas into engaging donor-facing content
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and professionalism
Proficiency in CRM and email marketing platforms (Salesforce, Pardot, or similar experience a plus)
Commitment to the mission and values of AFPI and enthusiasm for promoting the America First Agenda
