AFPI Applauds Appointment of Erika Kirk as CEO of Turning Point USA

Washington D.C.— The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) is encouraged and inspired to hear that Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk’s beloved wife, a wonderful mother, and a woman of faith was unanimously elected as CEO and Chair of the Board of Turning Point USA. 

“Erika Kirk is an inspiring and courageous woman,” said Greg Sindelar, Interim President and CEO of AFPI. “She has faced the most unimaginable evil—the brutal assassination of her husband—with extraordinary grace and steadfast faith. She has inspired the Nation. Turning Point USA has built a lasting legacy in fortifying the next generation of Americans with a love of freedom, passion for free speech and open debate, and America first principles. It is essential that this work continue. While her election is bittersweet and bore from immense grief, there is no one better suited to lead this mission than Erika, who more than anyone understood Charlie’s vision and will carry it forward with both strength and conviction.”
