AFPI Honors National Police Week

Brett Tolman May 11, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) released the following statement from Brett Tolman, chair for Law & Justice to mark the beginning of National Police Week, a week to honor all those who protect and serve:

“I grew up with a deep respect for law enforcement, shaped in part by my father’s service as a peace officer in Los Angeles. I saw firsthand the sacrifices that come with the job, which is why I believe officers not only deserve our gratitude and support, but the resources they need to answer the call safely and effectively. During National Police Week, we honor the men and women who wear the badge and put themselves in harm’s way every day to protect and serve our communities.”
