AFPI Lauds AG Bondi’s Testimony Before Senate Judiciary Committee
Washington, D.C.– Yesterday, Attorney General AG Pam Bondi, an AFPI alumna, made it clear that there is indeed a new sheriff in town at the Department of Justice (DOJ) and order is being restored.
At her January 2025 confirmation hearing, AG Bondi stood before the Senate Judiciary Committee and promised to restore the mission of DOJ to serve the American people by securing the safety of our communities. Eight months later, AG Bondi stood before that same committee with receipts.
“When the DOJ does its job, the American people benefit,” said Jenn Pellegrino, AFPI’s Chief Spokesperson. “Attorney General Bondi is making good on her promise to give the American people a DOJ that fulfills its obligation to their safety rather than those driving woke ideology.”
The results lie just outside that Senate Judiciary Committee room, where those living and working in our nation’s capital can breathe a sigh of relief from the crime that ravaged the city. In just a matter of weeks, Washington, D.C. has seen 3800 arrests and a seizure of 365 illegal guns. In Memphis, where the DOJ has led a newly formed state and local partnership against violent crime, there have been 300 arrests and 80 illegal guns seized in just one week.
Under Attorney General Pam Bondi’s leadership, the DOJ is putting America first, and Americans are grateful.
