AFPI Marks Fifth Anniversary, Highlighting a Year of Action and Results
Washington, D.C.— As the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) marks its five-year anniversary, interim president and chief executive officer Greg Sindelar, released the following statement:
“Five years ago, AFPI was founded on a simple belief: the American people deserve a government—and a movement—that puts them first.
Brooke Rollins, now Secretary of Agriculture; Linda McMahon, now Secretary of Education; and Larry Kudlow launched AFPI to ensure the America First vision would not fade with time, but instead grow into a lasting force—one that delivers tangible results for real people.
At its core, AFPI has always been about improving the everyday lives of Americans—making life more affordable, restoring common sense, protecting our communities, and expanding opportunity for every family.
In 2021, we started with conviction—standing up to Big Tech and defending free speech when it mattered most.
In 2022, we took our mission across the country—launching state chapters, unveiling nearly 200 policy solutions through the America First Agenda, and listening directly to Americans in 17 cities.
In 2023, we delivered results—advancing policies that expanded school choice, protected children, and safeguarded American land and resources.
In 2024, we scaled for impact—building a comprehensive policy and personnel pipeline ready to govern on Day One.
In 2025 and the first quarter of 2026, we led—with more than 96 AFPI alumni stepping into service of the executive branch, six of our leaders joined President Trump’s Cabinet, nearly 91% of our policy agenda was advanced or implemented, and we grew to 10 state chapters.
In just five years, AFPI has grown from a startup into a national force—an organization with more than 250 team members and a growing network of leaders shaping policy across the country.
But this milestone is not the finish line—it’s the foundation.
The challenges facing our nation are real, and they demand bold leadership, clear vision, and the courage to act. AFPI was built for this moment—and for the generations to come.
We are just getting started.”
