AFPI Thanks First Lady Melania Trump for the “Fostering the Future Act”

Washington, DC – The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) released the following statement from Kellyanne Conway, AFPI Chair of the American Child, in gratitude for First Lady Melania Trump’s leadership to protect children and for the U.S. House’s unanimous passage of the Fostering the Future Act: 

“For too many years, politicians have talked about improving the outcome for millions of vulnerable children and young adults aging out of foster care. Real action and moral clarity were needed to break the typical partisan gridlock and clear a path toward passage. Thankfully, First Lady Melania Trump added “Fostering the Future” to her Be Best campaign and worked to bring about early success. Tirelessly traversing the typical partisan gridlock, her “Fostering the Future Act” has passed the U.S. House of Representatives - UNANIMOUSLY. This is a major achievement for which all Americans should be grateful.
