America First Policy Institute Responds to Operation Epic Fury Ceasefire

Washington, DC — The America First Policy Institute issued the following statement in response to news that President Trump has agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran:

"The two-week ceasefire demonstrates the 'peace through strength' approach that defines America First foreign policy. Although Iran’s leadership has acknowledged the agreement, much depends on their ability to uphold their end of the ceasefire. This milestone reflects the President’s boldness- in both military action and diplomacy- to protect the American people and to give diplomacy a chance but to not hesitate to use force when necessary. Over these next two weeks and beyond, the United States will continue operating from a position of power until our objectives in the region are fully met."
