Chad Wolf, AFPI Executive Director, joined Fox & Friends to discuss the border crisis.
In a recent Fox News segment, it was reported that over 52,000 special interest aliens have been apprehended in the past eight months, with nearly 90% caught in the San Diego sector. This alarming statistic was highlighted by former acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf, who discussed the national security threats posed by these individuals, particularly given their travel patterns similar to known terrorists.
Wolf pointed out the significant rise in got-aways, totaling 184,000 during the same period, bringing the grand total of illegal crossings to over 1.85 million since the start of the Biden Administration. The concentration of special interest aliens in the San Diego sector suggests an organized effort by cartels to exploit this entry point.
The segment also addressed the broader implications of this surge, including increased criminal activities involving migrants in major cities like New York and Chicago. Notably, a migrant in Chicago was recently arrested for the 10th time, this time for aggravated battery against a police officer, highlighting the ongoing challenges faced by law enforcement.
Wolf emphasized the urgent need for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other national security agencies to address these issues effectively. He called for strict enforcement and the removal of individuals who break the law to maintain national security and public safety.
