Chad Wolf joined Kudlow on Fox Business to discuss the border crisis.
Chad Wolf, former Secretary of Homeland Security, recently appeared on Kudlow on Fox Business to discuss the ongoing border crisis and the Biden administration's latest executive orders. Wolf criticized the "parole in place" program for undocumented spouses of U.S. citizens, labeling it as fraudulent and a misuse of parole powers. He argued that this move could lead to a surge in fraudulent marriages, similar to the spike in unaccompanied minors following DACA in 2012.
Wolf pointed out that the Biden administration has paroled nearly a million individuals into the country over the past three and a half years, with this latest program potentially adding hundreds of thousands more. He emphasized that the administration's actions seem more focused on political gain in an election year rather than addressing genuine immigration issues.
The discussion highlighted the administration's approach to shielding long-term undocumented individuals from deportation, despite them having ample time to legalize their status. Wolf argued that the administration is creating unnecessary problems to justify their policies and hold press conferences ahead of the election.
Wolf also noted that recent executive orders are filled with exemptions and loopholes, particularly evident in the San Diego sector, where over 100 countries have been exempted. This, he said, undermines the effectiveness of border control measures, as many migrants continue to enter and remain in the U.S. unchecked.
