When President Donald J. Trump nominated Pam Bondi to serve as our Nation’s Attorney General, I knew she’d be a game-changer. She’s always been a fighter: tough on crime, tireless for victims, and fearless when the political winds blow. But in just a few short months in this role, she’s exceeded even those high expectations.

From the moment she took the oath of office, Attorney General Bondi went straight to work restoring safety, security, and sanity in our communities with decisive action. She’s worked to rid the Justice Department of radicals who drove its weaponization and spun the narrative around January 6.

She’s taken aim at violent crime, made the safety of law-abiding Americans her top priority, and sent a clear message: The days of coddling criminals and ignoring victims are over.

She’s dismantled policies that put politics over public safety, including working toward ending dangerous sanctuary city practices that protected repeat offenders instead of protecting the public. She’s empowered law enforcement to work together with federal immigration authorities, keeping dangerous criminals off the streets. And she’s backed the deployment of the National Guard to neighborhoods in crisis, bringing help where it’s needed most.

No place has needed that leadership more than Washington, D.C.
