Mass deportations bear fruit: ‘The border is ours again’

Kristen Ziccarelli, director of global coalitions and senior policy analyst at the America First Policy Institute, explains how President Trump's "America First" policy has dramatically changed the approach to immigration in the United States. 

She points to recent harsh measures, including mass deportations of illegal immigrants, which have led to an almost complete halt to illegal border crossings, according to official data. According to Ziccarelli, these results are the direct result of policies aimed at protecting national borders, enforcing clear rules and strengthening national sovereignty. 

She emphasizes that Europe must be alert to these developments, as the American example shows how strict immigration policy can have an effect. 

This distinguishes Trump's current administration from previous administrations, which she says were less resolute against illegal immigration.
