America First congratulates Speaker Johnson

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The America First Policy Institute today released the following statement from Brooke Rollins, President and CEO, on the election of House Speaker Mike Johnson: 

“There is no better defender of the Constitution and fighter for putting America First than my friend and neighbor from Louisiana, Speaker Mike Johnson. 

It is time to put the internal debates behind us and get back to work proving to the American people that we have the solutions to the problems facing our nation, including combatting runaway price increases, the sky-high cost of gas and energy, an open southern border that makes our country vulnerable to terrorists, crime and lawlessness plaguing our neighborhoods and cities, and weakness on the global stage that has emboldened the enemies of our country and its allies. 

I have no doubt Speaker Johnson will get the House of Representatives back to putting America First.”
