Statement from AFPI on National Police Week
In honor of National Police Week, Chad F. Wolf, Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer, and Chair of Homeland Security and Immigration Policy at the America First Policy Institute, issued the following statement:
“In recent years, efforts to undermine law enforcement have led to real consequences—rising crime, strained communities, and a growing sense of insecurity. But across the country, Americans know the truth: our police officers are not the problem—they are the solution. These men and women stand between order and chaos every day, often without recognition, so the rest of us can live in peace. Most of us never see the danger they face because they bear it for us.
During National Police Week, we honor those who give their lives in the line of duty and recognize the daily sacrifices made by officers across the nation. Their service is a quiet but powerful reminder of the cost of safety and the strength it takes to provide it. As a nation, we must continue to support those who protect us and ensure our leaders stand firmly for law, order, and the communities that depend on both.”
