On CNN News Central, former Acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf warned that the Biden administration’s failure to detain illegal immigrants is a core reason for the ongoing border crisis. Rather than holding unlawful entrants in federal custody pending immigration proceedings, Wolf stated that under President Biden, the Department of Homeland Security has been releasing the majority of migrants into the U.S.—often without court dates or adequate tracking.
