Alexis Verdon

Alexis Verdon serves as a copy editor at AFPI, editing and proofreading written materials across the organization for accuracy, clarity, and consistency of voice.

Verdon owns Verdon Consulting LLC, through which she provides editing, proofreading, and content review to businesses across a range of industries, serving as lead editor and final reviewer and enforcing style and brand standards across print and digital materials. She is also the founder and chief executive officer of ABA Family Therapy, a behavioral health practice with multiple facilities and a staff of more than 50, where she directs clinical operations and oversees all clinical, compliance, and insurance documentation.

Earlier in her career, Verdon served as a board-certified behavior analyst at Direct Behavioral Strategies, where she was named Employee of the Year, and as a registered behavior technician at Cayer Behavioral Group. A native bilingual English and Spanish speaker, Verdon earned a master's degree from the University of West Florida and a bachelor's degree from Florida State University. She lives in Orlando, Florida, with her husband and three children.
