Brian Islas is from Los Angeles, California, and serves as a Government Affairs Coordinator for the America First Policy Institute. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, concentrating in American Politics. While there, he participated in the University of California Washington Center program and several political organizations. Most notably, he interned in the U.S. House of Representatives for Rep. Andy Biggs (AZ), Rep. Tim Burchett (TN), and Rep. Matt Rosendale (MT). In his free time, Brian enjoys the movies, fencing, and the company of friends.
