Claire Gute serves as Legal Affairs Coordinator at America First Policy Institute. She attended Loyola Marymount University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in International Relations. Claire also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. Originally from Southern California, Claire moved to Washington, D.C. to pursue internships on Capitol Hill with Senator Blackburn and Congressman Jim Jordan. Prior to joining AFPI, she worked in the Office of Senator Kevin Cramer and in development for Judicial Watch. She proudly served in the Trump Administration as Confidential Assistant to the Principal Deputy General Counsel at the Department of Veterans Affairs. In her free time, Claire enjoys fitness, traveling to see her family in California and Hawaii, and going to baseball games.
