Michael Berry
Executive Director, Center for Litigation
Michael Berry serves as Executive Director, Center for Litigation at AFPI. Prior to entering private practice in 2013, Michael served for seven years on active duty as an attorney with the U.S. Marine Corps. Among his numerous positions within the Marine Corps, Michael deployed to Afghanistan in 2008, and from 2009-2012, he served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the United States Naval Academy. Michael continues to proudly serve our nation as a member of the Marine Corps Reserve.
As Executive Director of AFPI’s Center for Litigation, Michael will help build and lead AFPI’s efforts to restore and defend Americans' most fundamental rights. As a recognized subject-matter expert in several areas, Mr. Berry has testified before Congress, and he is routinely invited to speak across the nation. Mr. Berry has also been featured hundreds of times in various national media outlets.
Michael earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, and he earned his law degree from The Ohio State University.
