AFPI Applauds Introduction of Make Elections Great Again (MEGA) Act to Secure Election Integrity

Washington, D.C.—Ken Blackwell, Chair of Secure Elections at the America First Policy Institute (AFPI), released the following statement about Make Elections Great Again Act:

“As a former statewide election official, I applaud the introduction of the Make Elections Great Again (MEGA) Act. The America First policies championed in this legislation will serve the American people by introducing federal baseline standards that will secure elections, improve transparency and accountability, and increase confidence in our election system.

Since its inception, the America First Policy Institute has championed election integrity positions. Americans deserve to know that their elections are trustworthy. America First policies like those found in the MEGA Act will help ensure that all voices are respected, all votes are counted, and that the influence of bad actors is curtailed.

AFPI will continue to work to make it easy to vote and hard to cheat. This legislation is a critical step towards achieving these goals.”
