AFPI Calls Out Rampant Government Fraud and Abuse in Minnesota’s State Programs

Washington, D.C.— Brett Tolman, AFPI's Chair for Law and Justice commented on the September 18 press conference held by Acting U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson, which highlighted $107 million in misappropriated funds"Minnesota continues to face significant fraud in its state programs with Acting U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson rightly calling it a 'systematic attack'. Minnesota taxpayers deserve confidence that their hard-earned dollars are used effectively and protected from abuse."

A comprehensive audit of all state taxpayer-funded programs is urgently needed to ensure transparency, strengthen oversight, and safeguard public funds," added Ryan Wilson, Chair of AFPI's Minnesota Chapter
