AFPI Commemorates National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) proudly commemorates National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day by honoring the brave Americans who served during the Korean War and recognizing the enduring legacy of their sacrifice. Though the Korean War is sadly and mistakenly often called the “Forgotten War,” the courage of these veterans helped secure the future of a free South Korea, forged one of America’s strongest and longest-standing alliances, and demonstrated the enduring value of peace through strength.

“Today, we honor the extraordinary veterans who answered the call to defend freedom during the Korean War. Their sacrifice not only secured the future of a free South Korea but also laid the foundation for one of America’s strongest alliances,” said Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Keith Kellogg. “As new threats continue to emerge in the Indo-Pacific, their legacy reminds us that lasting peace is achieved through strength, courage, and an unwavering commitment to defending freedom.”
