AFPI Condemns the Murder of Charlie Kirk & Prays for the Kirk Family

Washington D.C.— This afternoon, at a Utah Valley University campus event, conservative media personality, father, and devout Christian Charlie Kirk was assassinated.

This horrific act of violence is a result of years of escalating rhetoric against those who champion common sense, America First policies, and biblical values. Violence has now replaced debate, and those who dare to stand up for their beliefs are under direct attack.

The individual responsible must be punished to the fullest extent of the law for this horrific, anti-American, and gravely immoral act. We are shocked and horrified at the state of our Union, where political disagreement is increasingly met with violence. This is unacceptable. It must end.

Charlie Kirk had an unparalleled impact on a generation of young people, and he emboldened Americans to speak the truth and defend their faith, regardless of the consequences. He embodied these values with courage until the very end.

We pray for the repose of the soul of Charlie Kirk, his family, his loved ones, and all those who were put in harm’s way for exercising their constitutional freedoms. May God bless and protect us all—we need His strength now more than ever.
