AFPI-NJ Chair Michael John Donohue on Today’s Primary Elections
TRENTON, NJ - The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) New Jersey Chair Michael John Donohue today urges residents to vote in the state’s primary election, with polls open across New Jersey until 8 p.m. and seats up and down the ballot. Today’s primary will set the November matchups for the U.S. Senate seat, all of New Jersey’s congressional districts, and a range of county and municipal offices.
Michael John Donohue, Chair of AFPI's New Jersey Chapter, said:
“Today is primary day in New Jersey, and the most important thing any of us can do is show up and vote. Polls are open across the state, and every ballot is a chance to be heard.
Here in New Jersey, our chapter has been hard at work advancing an America First agenda that puts families first: sane immigration policy that keeps our communities safe, common-sense energy policy that lowers costs and keeps the lights on, and real educational choice for parents.
“Take school choice, for example. There’s a $1,700 federal tax credit for school choice waiting for New Jersey families — but only if our state chooses to participate. New Jersey has so far declined to opt in. That doesn’t have to be the final word. New Jerseyans can still make their voices heard and tell Trenton they want in.”
“So, find your polling place, bring a neighbor, and go vote. That’s how we make it happen.”
