Hannah Anderson September 9, 2025

The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) has issued the following joint statement from Hannah Anderson, Director of Healthy America Policy and Tate Bennett, Director of Rural Policy on the release of the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission’s strategy on September 9, 2025:

“Today’s release of the President Trump's MAHA Commission’s ‘Make Our Children Healthy Again Strategy’ represents a much-needed and new paradigm shift to address America’s chronic disease epidemic.

We applaud the President and the members of the Commission, especially Secretary Kennedy, Secretary Rollins, and Administrator Zeldin for their commitment to Americans’ health and for their extensive dialogue and listening sessions with health experts, farmers, and the American people as they developed the Strategy. AFPI looks forward to engaging further on the policies outlined in the Strategy.”
