AFPI Responds to Operation Epic Fury
Washington, D.C.—The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) released the following statement in response to news of joint strikes carried out against Iran by U.S. and Israeli military forces:
“The Trump administration’s actions in Iran reflect an enduring commitment to putting the safety, sovereignty, and prosperity of the American people above all else. For decades, the Iranian regime has been recognized as the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism and one of the longest-standing threats to the American people in the modern era, having claimed thousands of American lives. The Iranian regime, which has massacred tens of thousands of innocent Iranian civilians since the beginning of the year, has a global record of destruction—providing support and direction to terror groups that endanger U.S. citizens and our forces abroad, propping up Russia and China and escalating threats in the Western Hemisphere. The United States does not support any regime that kills its own citizens or sows unrest beyond its borders.
Today’s strikes follow sustained efforts to resolve tensions through diplomacy that were ignored by Tehran. The goal is not conflict, but peace. President Trump has been clear: the United States will always act with strength and intention when American lives, freedom, and global leadership are at stake. Iran cannot be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon, and we will never stand down to those who threaten us.”
