Andrew Pavoncello serves as a senior policy advisor for homeland security, immigration, and anti-human trafficking policy at AFPI. He has more than a decade of experience in public-private partnerships and strategic alliances, building national coalitions, and engaging stakeholders across government and industry.
Pavoncello most recently served as a federal consultant at the Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency, where he led large-scale engagement strategies, delivered executive-level briefings, and enhanced coordination across federal, state, and private entities.
During President Trump’s first term, Pavoncello served at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, serving as engagement manager, senior campaign coordinator, and director of the Academic Institutions Subcommittee. Pavoncello played a key role in launching the Blue Campaign to combat human trafficking, building the initiative from the ground up and aligning cross-agency partners to accelerate national awareness and policy impact.
Pavoncello attended Saint Leo University and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and international studies. A proud native of Sarasota, Florida, he enjoys watching baseball, playing golf, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
