Ryan Micozzi

Ryan Micozzi serves as deputy general counsel at AFPI. He previously worked as a staffer at the Republican National Committee, where he oversaw recruiting for the Trump campaign's digital department during the 2020 election cycle. He also served as a White House intern in the Office of Political Affairs during the first Trump Administration.
Micozzi earned his Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America, graduating cum laude from the evening division. He served as a staff writer on law review and a teaching assistant for the legal writing program, and provided pro bono support to law clinics focusing on tax, labor, and employment matters. While enrolled, he worked full-time as an HR consultant, providing services for conservative political, public affairs, and digital organizations.
Micozzi holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University at Buffalo. He is also a Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP) and is admitted to the New York bar.
