Shea Throckmorton

Shea Throckmorton is from Memphis, Tennessee and serves as AFPI's Peace Through Strength Campaign Director. Prior to this, Shea has worked on Capitol Hill as a Policy Analyst on the U.S. Foreign Affairs Committee and as a Legislative Aide for U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN). Before establishing himself on the Hill, Shea worked on two successful senatorial campaigns representing both of his home state senators, both in 2018 and 2020. In a past life, Shea graduated with a Political Science degree from the University of Mississippi and was voted Best Global Ambassador at Ole Miss. Shea is currently in the Hillsdale College Graduate School of Government, and in his free time Shea enjoys watching Golden Age of Hollywood movies, listening to Dominican preaching, and escaping the city in search of more trees and a larger greenspace.
