Tony H. Pham, Esq. joins AFPI as a Sr. Fellow in the Center for Homeland Security and Immigration. Prior to joining AFPI, Mr. Pham served as the Assistant Secretary for Border Security & Immigration Policy, the Acting Director for Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Principal Legal Advisor in U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). During his tenure in various positions, Mr. Pham successfully enacted strong border policies and implemented successful interior enforcement operations targeting violent criminal aliens. Mr. Pham further served as the Superintendent of a regional detention facility in Virginia where he managed ICE detainees. He received the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Distinguished Service Medal.
