Zach Risher

A native of southern Indiana, Zach Risher serves as Senior Technology Advisor for AFPI’s Office for Fiscal and Regulatory Analysis. His fifteen-year career has spanned software leadership roles at various startups and small businesses. Most recently, he served as Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Qualify Digital Labs, an ecommerce consulting company that manages the online presence of top-tier global brands. As a developer, he has worked in every mainstream language, and contributes to open-source development on major projects like Docker and Bevy. He loves tackling hard problems - building an understanding of complex systems and creating elegant, surgical solutions. He lives with his adoring wife and their dog in Sacramento, California.
