    End the chaos at our southern border through physical barriers, advanced technology, and empowered enforcement.
  • End Sanctuary Cities
    No city should shield those who break our laws. States must restore the rule of law by prohibiting sanctuary policies that harbor criminal activity and undermine federal enforcement.
  • Defeat the Cartels
    Drug and human trafficking organizations threaten our communities every day. We must dismantle cartel operations through joint state–federal action and international accountability.
  • Reform the Broken Immigration System
    Prioritize merit-based legal immigration that strengthens our economy and upholds the integrity of citizenship.
  • Rebuild an Accountable U.S.–Mexico Partnership
    Leverage trade, security, and diplomatic tools to ensure Mexico is a true partner in stopping illegal immigration, combating cartels, and protecting American sovereignty.

HB 1704 was enacted on April 21, 2026. The bill establishes two new crimes. First, the bill creates a misdemeanor crime for aliens who: (1) have been “denied admission, excluded, deported, or removed from the United States or has departed the United States while an order of exclusion, deportation, or removal is outstanding,” and (2) intentionally enter the state.
