AFPI, Unleash Prosperity Host Prosperity 250 Summit Ahead of America’s 250th Birthday

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Our Founding Fathers sought to unleash the power of entrepreneurship and free enterprise so that Americans “who are possessed of the spirit of Commerce—who see and who will pursue their advantages, may achieve almost anything.”

As we approach the semi quincentennial anniversary of the birth of this great Nation, the choice that confronts Americans of which economic path to follow could not be starker. The America First path provides the American people the ability to chart their own destinies. The other path has unleashed a cost-of-living crisis fueled by a tsunami of spending and has deepened the economic struggles of American families.

The Trump Administration has implemented policies that have unleashed American energy, relieved enormous tax burdens through the Working Families Tax Cuts Act signed into law on July 4, 2025, cut regulatory red tape across the economy, and strengthened American trade and manufacturing. These are the foundations of a growth agenda built to deliver lasting prosperity.

To celebrate the achievements of the Trump administration, and to highlight the solutions needed to further strengthen America’s economy, expand opportunity, and ensure the promise of freedom and prosperity endures for the next 250 years of this great nation, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) and Unleash Prosperity today hosted the “Prosperity 250 Summit.”

This summit convened influential leaders from business, finance, government, and public policy to have a forward-looking conversation on the future of American prosperity. The discussions highlighted the ideas and solutions needed to strengthen America’s economy, expand opportunity, and ensure the promise of freedom and prosperity endures for the not only the next 250 years, but beyond. The topics explored included energy independence, tax and fiscal policy, deregulation, trade, manufacturing, and technological innovation.

Keynote speakers included:

  • Secretary Brooke Rollins, AFPI founder and secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture
  • Secretary Linda McMahon, AFPI founder and secretary of the U.S. Department of Education
  • Lee Zeldin, administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
