Statement Concerning the One Big Beautiful Bill Act

Washington, D.C. – The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) released the following statement from interim President and CEO Greg Sindelar concerning the One Big Beautiful Bill Act:

“President Trump, Speaker Johnson, and America First members of congress have been working relentlessly on the One Big, Beautiful Bill Act for years. If enacted, this bill would include the largest mandatory savings of any bill in the history of congress.

The American people voted overwhelmingly for an America First agenda - and this bill delivers on that mandate. The American people deserve politicians who keep their campaign promises and have a bias for bold action.

The bill would prevent one of the largest middle-class tax hikes in history, put American farmers first, protect seniors, accelerate border security and immigration enforcement operations, and put America on the path to a golden age of affordability and fiscal sanity. American families need commonsense policies that reward hard work and raise living standards. This bill does just that. Extending the personal tax rates for individuals and small businesses enables families to keep more of what they earn - rather than funding ever-growing government programs. Congress must continue moving quickly to reduce taxes, raise accountability, and secure the border for all Americans."
