Statement: Ken Blackwell on The American Confidence in Elections (ACE) Act
Washington, D.C. – Today, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) released the following statement from Ken Blackwell, Chair of the Center for Election Integrity at AFPI, regarding the American Confidence in Elections (ACE) Act, which would implement several key federal election integrity measures. The Act was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives on July 12.
“The ACE Act is a fantastic step forward for election integrity. It would address some of the most critical issues that are causing the crisis of confidence in American elections, such as outside funding for elections administration, non-citizen voting, and more. Polling shows that the majority of Americans have concerns about how elections are conducted in this country, and policymakers cannot afford to ignore the American people’s desire for change. AFPI’s Center for Election Integrity strongly applauds the introduction of this Act.”
