Focus on Rural Revitalization and Small Family FARMS

New Mexico’s rugged mountains and high desert plains form a landscape as prosperous and resilient as the people who call it home. From the historic trade routes of Santa Fe to the pioneering laboratories of Los Alamos, New Mexico has long been a crossroads of culture and innovation.
Today, New Mexicans still share a deep sense of tradition, a reverence for faith and family, and a belief that hard work and personal responsibility open the door to opportunity. In recent years, as families and job creators have sought refuge from overregulation, a failing education system, and rising crime, New Mexico’s untapped potential has come into sharper focus as a state ready to lead, if only given the chance to thrive.
The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) has established its New Mexico state chapter to champion the principles that built this Nation and empower the people of the Land of Enchantment to reclaim their future. Guided by AFPI’s America First Agenda, AFPI-New Mexico will advance bold solutions to fix our broken education system; protect our communities from crime, drug cartels, and human trafficking; and tackle the crises of failing healthcare and generational poverty.

Working Families Tax Cuts Are Helping Restore the American Dream
For generations, the American Dream meant something simple: if you worked hard, played by the rules, and invested in your family, you could get ahead. The Trump Administration’s tax reforms reflect that basic principle, and it’s showing up in New Mexicans’ budgets, in paychecks and tax returns.
