Brandon J. Logan

Senior Fellow, American Child

Brandon J. Logan is a Senior Fellow at the America First Policy Institute’s American Child. He has spent his career at the intersection of law, policy, and practice, working to defend parental rights and strengthen families.

He currently serves as Executive Director of One Accord for Kids, a nonprofit building community-based solutions to support children and families in foster care across West Texas. Previously, he was Executive Director of 2INgage, the Single Source Continuum Contractor overseeing Community-Based Care for foster children in Northwest Texas, and Director of the Center for Families & Children at the Texas Public Policy Foundation.

A licensed attorney and certified Child Welfare Law Specialist, Logan represented hundreds of children and parents in Texas courts. He has also taught child welfare policy and family dynamics at Texas Tech University, where he earned both his law degree and doctorate in Human Development and Family Studies. His academic research and policy writing focus on child maltreatment, fatherhood, and family engagement, and his commentary has appeared in outlets including the Dallas Morning News, San Antonio Express-News, and Austin American-Statesman.
