Rachel is a seasoned media and communications professional with over a decade of experience spanning nonprofit organizations, trade associations, federal agencies, and political campaigns. Originally from Boston, she earned her degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and relocated to Washington, D.C. in 2015.

Before joining AFPI as Senior Director of Communications, Rachel led strategic communications efforts across a range of sectors, with expertise in targeted messaging, media strategy, and press advance. She served in the first Trump Administration as Deputy Communications Director at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and most recently held the role of Vice President of Media Relations at Alliance Defending Freedom.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys exploring the Glover Park trails with her dog and spending time on the beaches of Cape Cod.
