  • Overhaul U.S. military command structures for greater strategic effectiveness and adaptability in a changing global threat environment. Empower unified commands with clearer missions, streamlined communication, and enhanced rapid decision-making.
  • Reaffirm U.S. leadership and partnership across the Americas to counter external influence and promote stability, prosperity, and shared democratic values. Strengthen regional alliances, enhance cooperative security measures, and champion economic engagement.
  • Take bold action to deter Chinese aggression and maintain a free, open, and rules-based Indo-Pacific order. Deepen security, economic, and technological alliances with regional partners to counteract efforts at regional dominance and safeguard American interests.

    1. The China Initiative is essential to the campaign because it addresses the strategic challenge posed by the Chinese Communist Party’s expanding influence and aggression. By developing strategies to safeguard American interests and counter China’s economic, military, and technological advances, the initiative ensures that the United States maintains a free, open Indo-Pacific and protects critical national security priorities.

    1. The American Security team plays a central role in advancing comprehensive policy initiatives across American strategy, defense procurement, modernization, and readiness. Its work directly supports the campaign’s objectives to strengthen U.S. military capabilities and uphold American leadership on the global stage.
  3. Western Hemisphere Initiative
    1. The Western Hemisphere Initiative reinforces the campaign’s commitment to restoring U.S. primacy in the Americas. By countering malign influence from rival powers and deepening regional partnerships, it safeguards American security interests, promotes stability, and ensures that American interests endure in the nation’s own neighborhood. Restoring the Promise of the MISSION Act

Veterans rely on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) to provide timely, high-quality care for the injuries and illnesses they incurred in the course of military service. However, the agency routinely fails to deliver on this promise by forcing veterans to languish on waitlists for care. In response, President Trump signed the VA Maintaining Internal Systems and Strengthening Integrated Outside Networks (MISSION) Act into law in 2018, giving veterans the right to obtain care from providers in their own communities when the VHA could not deliver. By 2024, the MISSION Act connected 3.1 million veterans—over a third of the VHA’s veteran enrollees—with high-quality clinics and hospitals in their communities.
