AFPI launches new weekly political commentary, The Brief

Washington, DC — Today, the America First Studios, a multimedia initiative of the America First Policy Institute (AFPI), launched a weekly digital news series called The Brief.

Hosted by Ashley Hayek—former 2020 Trump Campaign National Coalitions Director, President of America First Works, and Executive Vice President of AFPI—The Brief will cut through political noise and spotlight the most important cultural, political, and economic flashpoints impacting everyday Americans in 5 minutes or less. 

"Americans are exhausted by the noise, spin, and endless talking points that dominate today's media landscape," said Hayek. "The Brief will cut through that clutter and give viewers a clear, honest look at the stories shaping our country. Every week we'll break down the headlines that matter most to everyday Americans in a way that's rooted in facts, common sense, and the principles that put America First."

Reporting on both national and state issues, Hayek will react to real clips, headlines, viral moments, and political quotes, delivering sharp insight backed by AFPI’s policy expertise. Each episode will be posted on AFPI’s social channels—YouTube, X, Instagram, and Facebook—posted on the AFPI website, and distributed via email and text.
