AFPI Responds to State of the Union Address: The Best Is Yet to Come
Washington, D.C.—The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) released the following statement in response to President Trump’s State of the Union Address:
“President Donald J. Trump’s return to the White House came at a defining moment in American history as he inherited a nation strained by record inflation, border instability, overregulation, rising crime, and declining confidence at home and abroad. Our nation’s families were desperate for a new era of strong leadership and had delivered a mandate to rescue our nation after years of neglect. The Trump administration delivered from day one, reigniting the America First spirit that has been central to our nation’s identity for 250 years.
One year later, prosperity has soared. As President delivered his State of the Union address, our borders are secure, energy costs have plummeted, businesses are thriving, red tape has been cut, our neighborhoods are safer, and we have regained respect on the world stage. He delivered this speech while Americans are filing their taxes and seeing much higher returns. This means more money in their pocket to live a better life.
Despite facing relentless legal challenges and bureaucratic resistance at every turn, President Trump made it clear that his administration will never stop delivering results for American families. With illegal immigration, foreign trade, and crime under control, we have the foundation needed to ensure future economic growth and stability for the American people.
Thanks to America First policies and a renewed focus on logical policy outcomes, the nation has entered a new era of American strength, all in just a fraction of a presidential term. In just the first year, one thing has become clear: for working families across the country, the best is yet to come.”
The state of our union is strong. AFPI will never stop fighting to defend our nation’s founding principles that mean no dream is too bold for Americans to chase.
