Max Eden

Director of Federal Education Policy

Max Eden is AFPI's Director of Federal Education Policy. In this role, he focuses on further limiting the role of the Department of Education and helping to restore authority in education to the states. Prior to joining AFPI, he served in President Trump's Domestic Policy Council as a director, focusing on education policy. Prior to that, he served as a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and the American Enterprise Institute, where he was distinguished by the Washingtonian as one of D.C.'s 500 most influential individuals. He is the WSJ best-selling co-author of Why Meadow Died: The People and Policies that Created the Parkland Shooter and Endanger America's Students. He has a B.A. from Yale University and is pursuing, part-time a J.D. from the Antonin Scalia Law School.
